Gaerea's first release of "Unsettling Whispers" was in 2018, and since, they dared define a "black metal" niche of their own, they dared to walk a new path and stir shit up a bit in the realm of BM, this album is a masterpiece and a milestone proving that it can be done, provided the band can pull it off, and they did, oh they did! Gloomy, dark, post-BM sludgy whatever, it's Gaerea, and this one belongs in my BC collection, the end.

Habituellement, j'Γ©cris mon commentaire dans la foulΓ©e une fois que j'ai terminΓ© tel ou tel album mais lΓ ... J'ai vraiment besoin de quelques minutes, pour reprendre mes esprits. Parce que Serpent Column a totalement perdu le sien dans Endless Detainment. Cet E.P., c'est un cataclysme de black/death metal cacophonique et hystΓ©rique qui tient sur vingt-et-une minutes et qui ne s'arrΓͺte jamais β au point de s'achever avec un fade out. Tout tient ensemble grΓ’ce Γ un sens de la technique inhumain !
